18 year old Larissa, Podmore scholarship recipient and Vice-Captain at Canberra Girls Grammar School, was selected as a member of U24 Australian Dragon Boating squad, the “Auroras,” and competed in the 2015 World Championships in Wellend, Canada from 19 to 23 August 2015. During the championships, the team competed against 2500 paddlers from 18 countries and won three gold, one silver and three bronze medals. Congratulations Larissa and the Auroras!

The Podmore Foundation’s Board proudly announced seven Canberra-based scholarships at the annual Scholarship Presentation Lunch, which was held at the Royal Canberra Golf Club on Sunday 15 March 2015. Scholarships were presented by Professor Mick Dodson, and the special guest speaker was Kyol Blakeney, Podmore’s inaugural scholarship recipient and graduate.
The Podmore Board welcomes Tamara Shaw, a recent University of Canberra double-degree graduate (Business Management and Communications in Public Relations) who will be developing and implementing Podmore’s social media and public relations strategy.
On 1 August 2014, Podmore scholarship recipients presented t-shirts to the ADFA Podmore Packers.
The largest-ever contingent of 69 Podmore Runners and Packers completed the City2Surf on Sunday, 10 August 2014.
