This is the first time in the 8 years The Podmore Foundation has participated in the City2Surf that we were not standing at the start line FRRREEEEEEZZZZIINNNNNGGGGNot a breath of wind and the sun was shining. Absolutely magic weather. No jumpers required as we warmed up, stretched, took photos, made new friends and enjoyed the loud music and atmosphere.

Our 55 participants included Sydney based supporters, Canberra Girls Grammar School students and teachers, KPMG group and ADFA pack marchers. They gave it their all and completed the grueling 14kms from Sydney city to beautiful Bondi Beach. We finished with lunch and refreshments at No Names Restaurant, The Royal Hotel, Bondi. Everyone was buzzing and feeling very accomplished.

Once lunch was consumed, tiredness set in and everyone was ready to get home and relax.

We can’t thank our sponsors enough for donating to our team and keeping us motivated. The fundraising page will be open until the end of August. I would personally like to thank CGGS students and teachers, ADFA, KPMG and my Sydney friends for participating and making the day such a fun event.
